An Unforseen Possibilty...

There's a small chance that I could start working for a theatre company in New Hampshire (or maybe Vermont, I'm not really sure which...) this summer.

Prof. Dwyer told about an opening up with this place and...well, any job in theatre is worth having for me.

The only issue is that it would be as Head Carpenter, and I'm not entirely certain if I a) qualify or b) am confident enough for the job.

Let's see what happens!

  1. You should totally apply for the job! Then deal with whether you're qualified/confident enough afterwards. If you get it, that will be validation that you ARE qualified, at least in the eyes of the person who matters, plus it will be an in for you as far as getting into the industry, indirect though it may be, and it will be a great stepping stone towards getting work as an actor in the company! Also, getting a job is always a confidence booster, whether or not we want to admit it.

(And there's the added bonus of being near where Dale and I live!)

  2. I hope it will work out for you! That would be a wonderful opportunity.
